Toyota Recalls Over 800,000 Cars for Airbag Malfunction

Toyota is recalling 2012 and 2013 models of Camry, Camry Hybrid, Avalon, Avalon Hybrid and Venza for a problem with the air-conditioning condenser unit that can damage the airbag control module. Water from the condenser can drip down onto the airbag control module which could cause a short circuit.
If the airbag does short circuit, the airbag warning light will illuminate and the airbags will either become disabled or deploy inadvertently.
