Terrell • Hogan Supports 8th Annual “Journey Into Womanhood” Scholarship Banquet

For several years, Wayne Hogan and firm paralegal, Senator Audrey Gibson, have been proud contributors to Empowerment Resources, Inc.’s Annual “Journey Into Womanhood” Scholarship and Celebration Banquet. The event recognizes the educational and artistic accomplishments of participants in the year-long program, and awards a scholarship to graduating seniors. Parents, grandparents, other family and friends attend the event as the young ladies recite poetry, perform skits, sing, and exhibit their latest video production.
Empowerment Resources, Inc. is a non-profit organization, serving young people and adults in Duval and surrounding counties through several signature programs including, life skills workshops, and parenting education seminars and coaching. Journey Into Womanhood TM is a rites of passage program for girls ages 9-17, with a focus on healthy and responsible transition from young girl to young woman through self-awareness, leadership skills development and community service.
