EPA Moves to Ban asbestos after Decades of Failures

The Law Firm of Terrell Hogan has been successfully fighting for victims of asbestos cancer in Florida for over 40 years. Recently, the Environmental Protection Agency ((“EPA”) has finally proposed to completely ban the manufacture and import of asbestos. Although asbestos is a known carcinogen that has killed 40,000 Americans a year, chrysotile asbestos is still being imported into the US to be used in items such roofing products, gaskets and brake pads. We have been fighting this fight since we obtained the very first verdict in Florida decades ago and we will continue to do so. We have victims contact us almost daily who are suffering from asbestos cancers and asbestosis as a result of being exposed to asbestos containing products which we are able to obtain compensation for them. If you, a loved one or friend is diagnosed with an asbestos illness, please contact us for a free consultation.
