On the eve of his inauguration as Mayor of Jacksonville, Alvin Brown introduced Terrell • Hogan attorney Chris Hand as his Chief of Staff. Chris has been with Terrell • Hogan since 2007 and has represented firm clients in personal injury and wrongful death cases in state and federal courts. A graduate of Princeton University and the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida, Chris previously served as press secretary for former U.S. Sen. Bob Graham and campaign manager for Alex Sink in her successful 2006 campaign for Florida Chief Financial Officer. With Senator Graham, he is the author of America, the Owner’s Manual: Making Government Work for You.
“We will miss Chris Hand, there’s no other way to say it. He’s a great communicator and is passionate about the law,” said firm president, Wayne Hogan, “Chris is a talented civil justice attorney, but our interests will have to yield for now to this tremendous opportunity for Chris to serve the best interests of our whole community. The very same skills that benefitted our clients will lead to his success as Mayor Brown’s Chief of Staff. I agree with Mayor Brown that he has filled his office with the best and brightest, and Chris will be an invaluable asset in the Mayor’s goal of taking Jacksonville to the next level.”
Hogan has made preliminary arrangements for former lead prosecutor and Terrell • Hogan partner, Patricia Dodson, to be available to continue the representation that Chris had been providing for Terrell • Hogan clients. That transition is now ongoing so the clients’ cases can advance as quickly as possible
