Legislation Pending on Cell Phone Use by Teenagers in Florida

A current Folio Weekly article, “A Major Distraction For Minor Drivers,” addresses pending Florida legislation that focuses on teenagers and cell phone use, Senate Bill 152, the Minor Traffic Safety Act.
There are 5 total pre-filed bills in Florida that address distracted driving. Florida is one of the few states without a single distracted driving law.
Hopefully this will change in 2013.
