Under Florida law, when drivers approach a law enforcement or other emergency vehicle parked on a two-lane roadway with emergency lights flashing, they are required to reduce speed by 20 miles per hour, and on multilane highways, vacate the lane closest to the emergency vehicle.  It’s more than a law.  It’s a lifesaver.
