Biography

Megan joins Terrell Hogan after having served our community as an Assistant State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit. During her time as a prosecutor, Megan tried 20 jury trials to verdict, including homicides and other violent crimes. She transferred her passion for protecting her hometown from crime, to advocating for her clients who have been harmed as a result of medical negligence.

Megan is a proud seventh generation Floridian who was born and raised in Jacksonville and attended Episcopal School of Jacksonville. Following high school, Megan attended The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina – a college known for its structure and commitment to developing leaders.   Attending college on an athletic scholarship, Megan was a four-year varsity letterman on the women’s Division I volleyball team. While at The Citadel, Megan held multiple leadership positions including serving Bravo Company as a representative on the Honor Court where she was selected to prosecute and judge Honor Code violations.

Upon earning her bachelor’s degree in English, Megan decided to pursue law because she felt as though she could best support her community through advocacy in the courtroom. She attended Florida State University College of Law and competed as a member of the Mock Trial Team.

In her spare time, Megan can be found cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
