Christine A. Michel graduated from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in 2013 and was admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado. From there she began working with the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials as a Trial Chamber Clerk Intern conducting research and analyzing evidence before the Trial Chamber before relocating to Phnom Penh, Cambodia where she clerked for the Honorable Rowan Downing of Australia and the Honorable Chang-ho Chung of South Korea. In 2015, Christine returned the United States and after being admitted to practice in the State of Florida, worked as a Personal Injury Attorney for the Law Offices of Reginald Estell. Attorney Michel owned and operated The Law Offices of Christine Michel from 2017 until 2023 representing clients in Personal Injury, Family, Criminal, and Immigration matters. In December 2023, Christine joined Terrell Hogan Yegelwel, P.A. where she continues to serve clients in the areas of Personal Injury, Criminal and Family Law. Christine is passionate about mentoring and serving the most vulnerable. She currently serves as Chair of the Raines Future Lawyers and Leaders mentor program and is an active board member of Mission House. She previously served on the Special Committee for Professionalism for the 2021-2022 term under former Florida Bar President, Michael Tanner, and was the 2020-2021 President of the D.W. Perkins Bar Association. Christine has been married to her loving husband, Billy, for ten years and they share two children, Chase and Charli.
