FJA Election Alert – Audrey Gibson

The following letter has been sent to FJA members regarding Audrey Gibson.

Dear FJA Member:
I am pleased to report that Audrey Gibson, a champion of the civil justice system, easily won a special election primary in Jacksonville. In the coming weeks, Senator-Elect Gibson will be sworn in as the next Senator from Senate District 1. She replaces another longtime friend, Senator Tony Hill, who left the Senate to join the administration of Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown.
Senator-Elect Gibson served four terms in the Florida House, where she built a strong record as an advocate for the rights of consumers. In addition to her public life, she is also a member of the Terrell • Hogan team in Jacksonville.
Because so many of you stepped up to support her candidacy, we are excited about working with Senator Gibson next year, and hopefully for many years to come.
Good things are happening here at the FJA. We appreciate your support and will keep you informed on session, legal and election cycle news as it develops.
Sincerely,
Debra Henley
Executive Director
