Wayne Hogan Supports Thanksgiving Luncheon for Seniors

More than 1,000 Duval County senior citizens celebrated Thanksgiving Day at the Senior Life Foundation’s 26th Annual Luncheon held at the Wyndham Riverwalk Hotel.
Each year, the Senior Life Foundation and local sponsors, including Wayne Hogan and Terrell • Hogan paralegal and Florida Senator, Audrey Gibson, support the event that provides many of the community’s seniors with a hot meal and an afternoon of fellowship.
According to the Senior Life Foundation, senior citizens are among the poorest groups in Duval County, with more than 23.8% living below the poverty line. The organization helps seniors in crisis by assisting with hot meals, medications, utility bills, rent, appliance repairs and other emergency services. Many of the organization’s clients rely on the foundation because they do not have living relatives or friends nearby.
