Terrell • Hogan Lawyers Help Veterans

Wayne Hogan, Leslie Goller, Alan Pickert and Chris Burns

For the 5th year, the lawyers of Terrell • Hogan volunteered their time and legal expertise in conjunction with Jacksonville Area Legal Aid JALA to help those who have served our country and are now in need of legal assistance. The Veterans Legal Collaborative is held every month at the Jacksonville Outpatient Clinic on Jefferson Street. Law partners Wayne Hogan, Leslie Goller, Chris Burns and Alan Pickert once again volunteered to participate in the event which allows all veterans who sign up in advance to speak one-to-one with them regarding their legal issues.

The Veterans are encouraged to bring any relevant documents pertaining to their various legal issues and receive legal advice for free. “My father was a career Navy man” said Alan Pickert. “We moved every two years and I was brought up on various naval bases in numerous different states including Pensacola NAS. Additionally, the majority of my legal career has been devoted to representing veterans who have developed asbestos lung cancer and mesothelioma from serving in the armed forces aboard ships, working with machinery and airplanes, and bunking in barracks. I understand the sacrifices our veterans have made for us and we at Terrell • Hogan are more than happy to help our veterans in any way possible.”
