Distracted Driving Message Shared with Southside Business Men’s Club

Wayne Hogan had the audience’s full attention when he talked about the distracted driving epidemic and its liability implications for business owners. He was a special guest at the Southside Business Men’s Club in June.
He discussed how texting isn’t the only culprit; talking on cell phones while driving is too, explaining that hands-free technology is no safer than hand-held.  Business owners also heard about recent court cases in which companies paid a high price for employees’ wrecks caused by distracted driving.
Employers were encouraged to consider implementing a distracted driving policy. To that end, the complimentary presentation offers details about such policies that’s available to local businesses, civic groups and their employees. Call (904) 632-2424 to request a talk.
