Christine A. Michel is a dedicated attorney at Terrell Hogan Law, representing clients in personal injury, criminal, and family law cases. With over a decade of legal experience spanning multiple areas of law, Christine is committed to providing compassionate and effective advocacy for her clients.

Christine’s legal journey began at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2013. Admitted to the Colorado Bar shortly thereafter, she launched her career with the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials, serving as a Trial Chamber Clerk Intern. Her work included conducting research and analyzing evidence before the Trial Chamber, a role that ultimately led her to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. There, Christine clerked for the Honorable Rowan Downing of Australia and the Honorable Chang-ho Chung of South Korea, gaining invaluable international legal experience.

Legal Advocacy in Florida

Returning to the United States in 2015, Christine was admitted to the Florida Bar and began working as a personal injury attorney at the Law Offices of Reginald Estell. She later founded The Law Offices of Christine Michel, where she represented clients in personal injury, family, criminal, and immigration matters.

In December 2023, Christine joined Terrell Hogan Law, continuing her focus on personal injury, criminal, and family law. Her approach combines meticulous legal expertise with a deep commitment to understanding her clients’ needs, ensuring they feel supported throughout every step of their case.

A Passion for Mentorship and Service

Christine’s dedication to advocacy extends beyond the courtroom. She is passionate about mentoring and empowering future generations, particularly through her role as Chair of the Raines Future Lawyers and Leaders Mentor Program. She also serves as an active board member for Mission House, an organization devoted to serving the most vulnerable members of the community.

Previously, Christine was the 2020–2021 President of the D.W. Perkins Bar Association, where she worked to promote diversity and professionalism within the legal field. She also served on the Special Committee for Professionalism under former Florida Bar President Michael Tanner during the 2021–2022 term, further showcasing her dedication to the ethical advancement of the legal profession.

Christine is married to her loving husband, Billy, and together they have two children, Chase and Charli. Outside of her legal work, Christine enjoys spending time with her family, fostering meaningful connections, and supporting causes close to her heart.
