Attorney and medical doctor Fadi M. Chakour is the newest member of the Terrell • Hogan medical malpractice team. 
As a practicing physician, Chakour treated many patients injured as a result of the negligence of others and observed the resulting harm to their loved ones. Combining his medical experience and legal abilities enables Chakour to be a powerful advocate for injured consumers and their families.
“Fadi adds expert perspective to our strong medical malpractice section,” said Wayne Hogan, president of the firm. “As a medical doctor, he has deep knowledge of the medical issues and an appreciation for what injured patients and their families go through.”
Prior to joining Terrell • Hogan, Chakour was practicing at Cole, Scott & Kissane, where he focused on medical malpractice, nursing home, and catastrophic injury defense. At Terrell • Hogan, Chakour will be reunited with medical malpractice attorney Matt Sowell, with whom he clerked while attending law school.
Chakour earned a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law where he received four CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for being the highest scoring student in four classes and was on the Dean’s Honor List three times. He is a 1994 graduate of Yerevan State Medical Institute in Yerevan, Armenia, where he trained as a medical doctor, and then practiced general surgery.
Fluent in Armenian, Arabic, and English, Dr. Chakour also speaks conversational Russian and Turkish. He is married with two children and resides on the Westside.
