Wayne Hogan and Leslie Goller Help Local Students Benefit from Legal Programs

Terrell • Hogan attorneys Leslie Goller and Wayne Hogan participated in the JALAcare program. JALAcare is Credit Abuse Resistance Education (C.A.R.E.) program (www.careprogram.us) is a nationwide consumer education movement to educate JALACARE students about the danger of consumer debt.
Leslie and Wayne taught 9th graders at Jean Ribault High School and Robert E. Lee High School about credit and debt. Both Wayne and Leslie have also been trained in the Florida Supreme Court’s Justice Teaching program for elementary, middle, and high school students. The program aims to promote an understanding of Florida’s justice system and laws, develop critical thinking abilities and problem solving skills, and demonstrate the effective interaction of our courts within the constitutional structure.
Teacher, Mary E. Chowenhill of Robert E. Lee High School was thrilled with the reponse from her students and asked that Wayne return in January to work with her second semester students.
