My family and I came to Terrell and Hogans office about 4 years ago after meeting with 3 other firms here in Jacksonville. My family and I suffered a great loss, our father. He was killed by physician’s negligence. As a pipefitter and welder, I personally worked with insulators, boilermakers, electricians, sheet metal workers, machinists, carmen, and other trades who were installing and removing asbestos-containing insulation and products throughout my entire work career. We were all working side by side removing and installing insulation on steam lines, boilers, turbines, pumps, and valves—which created a tremendous amount of asbestos dust that was in the air all around us. I breathed that dust almost daily and then 30 years later I was diagnosed with asbestos cancer. I could not have had better lawyers than Alan and Anita. In June of 2019, a distracted driver hit and very seriously injured me, which resulted in about a year of recovery.
