Jacksonville Area Legal Aid Recognizes Terrell • Hogan

At the recent Equal Justice event, Terrell • Hogan was recognized as one of only five Jacksonville law firms of which every attorney in the firm made a financial contribution to Jacksonville Area Legal Aid (JALA). JALA provides assistance to low-income residents with civil legal problems. The guest speaker at the event was Florida Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink.

Terrell • Hogan has a long history of supporting JALA, whose motto is “A Wealth of Justice for Those Who Have Neither.” Terrell • Hogan attorneys Alan Pickert, Patty Dodson, Leslie Goller and Chris Hand volunteer their time by doing legal intakes after hours; Leslie Goller is an active board member of JALA; and Wayne Hogan founded and supports JALA’s Mental Health Advocacy Project.

Ensuring that access to the legal system is provided to everyone in the community, regardless of ability to pay, is a priority to which Terrell • Hogan and its attorneys are deeply committed.
