Terrell Hogan represents the injured
as they seek justice.

Terrell Hogan attorneys Angelo M. Patacca, Jr. and Michael S. Sharrit recently earned board certification in civil trial law from The Florida Bar. Less than 2 percent of Florida lawyers are board certified in civil trial.

According to The Florida Bar, board certification recognizes attorneys’ special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law and professionalism and ethics in practice. Certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys in the areas of law approved for certification by the Supreme Court of Florida.

Patacca earned his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law, graduating magna cum laude, and began his legal career serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John E. Steele, United States Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court for the Middle District Court of Florida. In 1997, he began representing individuals who have been injured or harmed by negligence and wrongdoing of others. Since that time, Patacca has continued trying cases on behalf of his clients. In 2008 he attended and graduated from The Trial Lawyers College founded by Gerry Spence in Dubois, Wyoming.

Sharrit earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, graduating with honors, and earned his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law, graduating cum laude. After completing an internship with the U.S. Attorneys Office for the Middle District of Florida, he joined Terrell Hogan. During the past 20 years, Sharrit has gained a broad array of litigation experience in the area of personal injury and wrongful death, and has achieved notable success on behalf of clients impacted by catastrophic accidents. He has been appointed to serve on the Florida Bar Code and Rules of Evidence Committee and currently co-chairs the Evidence Code revision subcommittee. He serves on the Fourth Circuit Grievance Committee and is a barrister alumnus of the Chester Bedell Inns of Court.
