The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) advised in their most recent published report on Asbestos that NIOSH has determined that 1) exposure to asbestos fibers cause cancer and asbestosis in humans and 2) provides an updated discussion of the potency of chrysotile for causing mesothelioma.  Read the newly published report from NIOSH.
