TRAVELERS STATUTORY DIRECT ACTION SETTLEMENT
The appeal filed on August 27, 2005 by several insurance companies regarding the settlement in the Travelers Class Action is still being heard in the Bankruptcy Court for the New York Southern District. The hearings have been rescheduled various times and all claims processing in the class action are on hold since the appeal is still pending. We know most of you have signed releases for this settlement; however, unless the appeal is resolved in favor of the asbestos victims, you will NOT receive settlement funds related to this class action.
