Samsung Reportedly Halts Production of Galaxy Note 7 Phones

On the heels of September’s recall of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 smartphones due to battery fires, media are reporting Samsung is ending production of the device after reports that some of its replacement phones caught fire.
According to The New York TimesImage result for samsung recall, a Southwest Airlines flight in the U.S. was evacuated last week after a Galaxy Note 7 began smoking on the plane. The passenger and owner of the device reportedly told the media his phone was a replacement model. The nation’s four top mobile carriers announced they will stop selling the replacement version of the Galaxy Note 7, according to National Public Radio.
