Keurig Recalling Over 7 Million Machines After Burn Injuries

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling millions of Keurig’s Mini Plus Brewing Systems due to concerns that water that can overheat during the brewing process, spraying out and burning consumers. There have been approximately 200 reports of hot liquid spraying from the brewer, including 90 complaints of burn-related injuries.

The Keurig Minis were produced between the end of 2009 and July 2014, were sold at various national retailers and online. Keurig said consumers could contact the company for a free repair.
