Three major flour brands Recalled

Gold Medal Flour, Signature Kitchens Flour and Gold Medal Wondra Flour have been recalled due to possible E. coli contamination.  E. coli causes diarrhea and cramps but can be much worse for older adults, people with weakened immune systems or children under five.

Major Snack Food Recall

Kellogg Co., Mars Chocolate North AmericaFrito-Lay North America and Hostess massive recall. Numerous items have been recalled because the wheat flour contains a trace presence of peanuts and can be dangerous to anyone with nut allergies. People with an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanut are at risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume products containing peanuts. Sunflower kernel Recall

Massive sunflower kernel recall due to contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The sunflowers were distributed to retail stores from June 22,2015 and May 31,2016 in the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, lA, 10, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, Ml, MO, MS, MT, NC, NO, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SO, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, and WY. Recalled retail items were sold in packaged bags and deli tubs and are marked with Best By Dates located on the front or back of the packages.
