Wayne Hogan Supports MADD

Organization Honors Florida Law Enforcement Officers
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) educates the public, changes laws and saves lives.
That’s why we at Terrell • Hogan were proud to again sponsor MADD Northeast Florida’s Recognition Dinner in June. MADD honored more than 40 law enforcement officers, prosecutors and volunteers who support MADD’s mission of drunk driving prevention, enforcement and victim services.  Jill Leslie and Judy Cotton of MADD presented the awards.
“Law enforcement officers, prosecutors and volunteers play a vital role in preventing needless injuries and deaths,” said Terrell • Hogan President, Wayne Hogan.  “We celebrate them for their tireless work and appreciate all they do to keep our roadways safe.” Both Wayne and attorney Bruce Anderson attended the event.
During the recognition dinner, drunk driving crash survivor, Eve Bradford, spoke poignantly about the impact drunk driving crashes have on our community and how one crash affected her family’s life. Bradford, along with her pregnant twin sister and three of their children, were in a car hit by a drunk driver in 2014. She shared her story with the hopes that one else experiences the heartache and suffering she and her family face as they strive to overcome their injuries.
MADD is the nation’s largest nonprofit working to protect families from drunk driving and underage drinking.  It has one of the country’s largest victim services organizations and supports drunk and drugged driving victims and survivors at no charge.
