The Library of Congress Includes Hogan’s 2002 House Campaign

The Library of Congress is the nation’s first established cultural institution and the largest library in the world.  It contains millions of items including books, photographs, recordings, websites, map, and manuscripts in its collections.
Recently we were notified through Google Alert that stored in The Library of Congress collection is Wayne Hogan’s 2002 run for Congress. Wayne felt it was a joy to run for an office that, if handled properly, can make a major difference in people’s lives.  When notified of the campaign’s inclusion, Wayne said, “To have aspects of the campaign stored in The Library of Congress is somewhat like the closing scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark when the Ark is wheeled into a gigantic hangar in Area 51 never to be seen again.  But, I guess now with Google, folks can find it.”  While the five-term incumbent was re-elected, Wayne has always noted with a smile that “The majority of voters felt I should keep practicing law, and I followed their wishes.”
